Rosa THOMAS Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Rosa Lee passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2010 at Hospice House of Williamsburg.
She was born in Whitesboro, Ky., and came to Williamsburg at a very young age. She attended Matthew Whaley and graduated from James Blair, in 1957. In 1956, Rosa Lee married Conrad Thomas Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Conrad; five children, Vickie Lee Jenkins of North Carolina, James Conrad Thomas of San Diego, Calif., Deanna Adams and husband, Van of Kansas City, Mo., Eric Thomas, and Bryan Thomas, both of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Williamsburg Memorial Park. Online condolences may be offered at www.nelsencares.com. I am so sorry to hear about the death of Rosa Lee.She was secretary to Medical Records for many years. She always had a smile and would great me every morning with Good morning HUN!!! She could always find somthing good about a bad situation. My thoughs and prayers are with you.
