Mabel RUSS Obituary
She was born Aug. 31, 1911 to the late Della Hartley and John McNeely in Winston Salem, N.C.
She lived in New York for many years and worked as a seamstress in the garment district. She was a resident of Virginia for the past seven years.
She was also preceded in death by two sons and three brothers.
She is survived by her youngest son, John and his wife, Linda of The Villages, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Melva of Jersey City, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, with viewing from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Carter Funeral Home Inc., 251 Richneck Road, Newport News, VA.
