Hey Big Al. Can´t believe it´s been 13 years. Thanks for all the years of support and friendship... and for rekindling my interest in golf. You were truly one of a kind my friend.

Susan, we were so shocked when we heard about Al. It is so very hard to accept. Jennifer is remembering her times with Al with great fondness. You are absolutely in our thoughts and want to give you whatever support you need with lots of love!

Al was both my mentor and my friend. He was kind, intelligent, a great leader and he cared for all living creatures. I miss him a lot and I am honored to have known him.

Wonderful person, great boss (or as Al would say, "I'm just the cheerleader"), and friend.

I had the pleasure of seeing Al every morning at Montys Penquin. It was a pleasure to serve him and Bill breakfast. Al was a very nice man He always had a smile on his face. That smile and face will be greatly missed at Montys. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family. Sherry Lewis and The Montys Girls

Big Al was a true industry icon. He had a unique style: always a smile, a handshake, and a kind word, firm but fair, a fierce competitor. His style is something many have tried to emulate. He was the kind of personality everyone wanted to be around. I was privileged to watch him practice his craft - a true professional that could always mix in just the right amount of fun. We could use a few more like him. He is missed.

What started out over 20 years ago as a business relationship, quickly turned into a friendship. Al was bright, funny, interesting, loyal, a true gentleman and a true friend. He always treated everyone fairly, with respect and was one of the finest individuals I have ever known. My sympathy goes out to his lovely wife Susan and to his extended family. I’ll miss you Big Al.

There are too few people like Al in the world. He brought a zest for life to everything he did and, yes, he believed that everything should be fun. I think of him every time I wear his "Big Al" retirement tee shirt. God Speed my friend.

The news of Al Huneycutts passing comes as a very big surprise. I worked with Al for better than sixteen years with Mike Deam and Scott Hammond. Although our relationship was mostly viewed as a professional one, Al always made me feel like our time together was more than just work. Al consistently looked for the better in people and wanted each day to have a little fun it. The world would be better off if more of us had these abilities. Al will be missed.
