Sometimes we are lucky to find people that come in and out of our lives leaving an impact. Mike Plott was just one of those people. It was a thrill to see him at our HS reunion. It was also a thrill to enjoy some time with him to catch up on our lives since 1968. Mike was a kind, sweet man. He loved his family and especially his grandson. He will be missed by those who knew him well and by those who got to know him during these last fleeting moments of that SEP weekend.
I send my heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family. I wish them comfort in the many fond memories they cherish. Mike is in all our hearts. We will remember him and his friendship always.

I knew Mike through elememtary school and High School but never really got to know him until later. I am a nurse and had the pleasure to work with Mike's Mother, Ruth and her husband, Marvin Plott. I got to know Mike through his mother and meeting Mike when one of his parents was hospitalized. It was great seeing him at the reunion, I think it meant alot to him and I know it meant alot to us to spend some time with him that weekend.
Please know that his family is in my prayers and especially let his Mother, Ruth know that I have been thinking of her especially during this time and for some months, hoping she is adjusting well to California life and Tina spoiling her as much as possible. Please have Tina give Ruth a BIG Hug from me as my heart goes out to you all. Mike will be missed and remembered as being very gentle and loving his family

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing Mike, we were casual golfers. We somehow always ran into one another when we were out and about running errands and we always made a point to acknowledge one another and catch up on what was happening in our lives. He will be sadly miss, but I know that he is sitting at the right hand of our Lord.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I was always a bit intimidated by Mike in high school since he was so popular and "cool" but I had a chance to talk with him at the reunion and was so touched by his genuineness and sincerity. He spoke fondly of his family. I'm so glad you were all able to be with him. He told me of the cancer but we were all hopeful that he would beat it and be with us at the next reunion. In the sad times, remember the good ones. God bless you all.
