September 14, 2009

I met Don when I was 6 years old, living at the old Delta Lake clubhouse. He was a good friend of my cousin Bill Tayloe who lived with us. He was one of the "big boys" I tried to emulate during my child hood. AND, of course his mother was my favorite teacher of all times. He left some postive memories of the past.
My condolences to his family.

Dear Lynn,

I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. My mother was Sarah Ovilla McAlexander Murden. Both of my parents are now deceased and I have retired and moved to New Kent to be near my daugher and her family. I know Mom always enjoyed her time with Don and his reports of the McAlexander reunions and history. Keep in touch when you have time.
