To each one of the family, we are sad to hear of your loss. Elsie was a kind, generous person from the first we saw her. Near the beginning of 1970, we were sitting across a desk from Elsie in the Bank of Gloucester. Elsie was helpful and patient as two people she hadn't seen before anxiously anticipated signing a mortgage for a house. A few years ago, she asked if I remembered that; I did then and I do now - we're grateful for that and the few times since then. You are each in our thoughts and prayers. Paul and Nancy Kendall

Byrd & Cindy, Elsie was truly one of the kindest and most easy-going ladies I have known..I had the pleasure of working with her for 2 years at the Bank of Gloucester at the Point. After I moved to Portsmouth and then to Suffolk, I still went in the bank when I was in Gloucester to see Elsie. She was a very sweet person, and alot of fun to work with. She and my Aunt Margie (Prince) and my Aunt Willa (Farinholt) worked together for many years, and I knew they always had fun working together. I am so very sorry for your loss. She has no suffering now and heaven has one beautiful angel. Cindy Shackelford Anderton
