Felix Graves Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Sgt. First Class U.S. Army Ret. Felix Charles Graves Jr., was born on Nov. 22, 1943. He passed away on Nov. 16, 2009, at his home.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Heidi, of 34 years; daughters, Melanie and Jasmine; and grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Alex, Christopher, Daniel, and Atiana.
Viewing will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday Nov. 19, 2009, at Carter Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 10 am. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at the Fort Eustis Memorial Chapel. Interment, with Full Military Honors, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
We will miss our good father, daddy and opa.

I love you guys and am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Felix was always so patient with all of us crazy teenagers running in and out of his house in Darmstadt. I can still see him shaking his head at us like he didn't know what to think...lol I will always remember him being a good man with a kind heart!
