Deborah, Cindy, and family,

I am trully saddened to hear of the loss of your mom. She was a sweet lady and I have many fond memories of her when we were all growing up. Take comfort in knowing she is now with her "boys", Billy, Roy, and Danny, and she is happy. I will miss her sponkiness and infectious smile. I love you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this time.

Leah, Christina, Nick, Cindy,

I am deeply saddened by the loss of "MeMaw". I remember the loss of my grandmother and know that the pain you are feeling now is probably unbearable. Please know that you and your family (Lawhons and Nices alike) are in my prayers. If there is anything at all that I can do, please let me know.

Deborah and Family,

We can only imagine the celebration at Heaven's Gates when your Mama met up with her 3 precious sons; you know there must be a lot of music and dancing. She is now with God and her sons for all eternity, waiting for us all to join them. But until then her memory will be in our hearts every day. My Mom will miss her best friend.

With Our Love and Heartfelt Sympathy,

Christina & Family-I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother. I always loved hearing you tell stories of your "fiesty" 90 year old grandmother, her wonderful cooking and her love of the family. I know you will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Much Love, Lori Leib

In Don Piper's "90 Minutes In Heaven", he describes his boundless joy upon awaking in heaven and being met at the beautiful, magnificent gate by his most cherished loved ones. Surely, Aunt Laverne had quite a welcoming reunion: Three strong young men met her with outstretched arms and said "Momma, what took you so long?" Four other men,no longer ravaged by age, but with the restored vitality of their youth, welcomed her and said "Dear sister, we've been waiting for you!"

Though our hearts are heavy, we take great comfort in knowing that on last Friday evening there was quite a celestial celebration and for all eternity she is now experiencing the eternal joy of God's beautiful Heaven!

With our heartfelt sympathy and deep love,

Michael and Bonita Strickland
