Margaret Hayes Obituary
Margaret was born in Appalachia, Va., on Feb. 23, 1935, and grew up in the Lee Hall neighborhood of what was then Warwick County. She was a graduate of Warwick High School and a longtime resident of Newport News.
Preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Manley Newton, Margaret is survived by her sister, Brenda Newton Moffitt, and Brenda's husband, David of Williamsburg; her niece, Michelle Mitcheltree, and Michelle's husband, Johnny, and daughter, Carolyn of Yorktown; and her nephew, Michael Shelton of Washington, D.C.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a future date.
Memorial donations may be made to Lebanon Christian Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 3155, Newport News, VA 23603.

Sorry to learn of Margaret's death. We had so much fun growing up,going to church, school our many Sat days spent going to Williamsburg shopping, eating and going to the movies with our other Buddies, then Mom and Dad picking us after the movies.
