My condolences to the family and friends. My Dad was a tattooer from the same era of tattooers, Tattoo Charlie in Kentucky. He introduced me to Billy many years ago and he was very pleasant to me. I talked to him on many occasions at different conventions and he always greeted me warmly and had a more than a few funny stories about my Dad. Tell Dad I said hi when you see him.

Dear Family, my deepest heart felt condolences on the passing of a true giant and the most unbelievable angel I have ever met... snif snif. I speak for Narcotics Anonymous around the world and every where I go, weather it is in Europe, South Africa, Asia, Iceland, Alaska, Hawaii, I always, always, always talk about hearing Billy E speak at the treatment center I was a patient at in September of 1981, Penninsula Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. His story was so amazing to me because he had tried to get clean 40 times! I recount to the audience that at the end of the meeting they called him back up to the front of the room and gave him his 1 year medalion! Just by being Billy, he had the power to put hope in a hopeless dope fiend like me. That was my 3rd and last treatment. I held onto that small piece of hope, that I never had to use again the rest of my life in N.A. This september 6th I celebrated 29 years clean. "Today I am free, thanks to Billy E."

My sympathy goes out to the Eason family. At Revelation 21:4 it says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

It took me by surprise to hear of Billy's passing. He always had a smile and lit up any room he was in. There is always an end to the ride- and we always seem to get there before we expect it, before we want to. The greatest gift we have is that ride, and the chance to share it with those we know and love. Farewell. My brother.

Billy was a dear friend and client of mine for many years. He lived life according to his own rules with no excuses and very few regrets. With Billy you'd better hold on because you never knew what might be coming your way. Duck and you might still get clipped with an undercut..and that was if he liked you. He was that quick. You left me with a lifetime of memories brother. I am going to miss you...I already do. Rest in Peace Billy. Damian G. Guerin, Esq.
