Randy was one of my surrogate brothers. He loved his family and extended family with his whole heart. Randy was very giving to everyone. He loved his girls, son, and grandchildren to the " Stars and Back ". That's a phrase he used to use. How sweet. Yes, Randy was a kind soul. We will miss your physical self on this earth, but know we will all be together again. I hope you are one of my Heavenly protectors. I'm sure you are watching over all those that were in your loving heart.

So sad to hear of my cousin Randy's death. It had been a long time since we last seen each other but I will always treasure the times as young kids coming to your house and playing pool in the basement with you and Debbie. As we grew older we lost contact but I will always remember my cousin forever. May you rest in peace. Love your cousin Tina (Morris) Lesser.

Randy, May God bless you and your family , you will be greatly missed. Randy was highly respected for his skills and knowledge in the areas he worked in the shipyard which were many, in which he had an abundance of friends. I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with you and I will miss you.

I loved my brother dearly. He was such a kind-hearted person who loved his daughter very much and enjoyed working at Newport News Shipbuilding. I will miss him very much! Deb

Life on earth is temporary, but the lessons you learn here, the lives you touch and change, and the wonderful rewards that you gather, endure forever. Randy touched and changed the lives of everyone who knew him. Too often we don't realize what we have until its gone, too often we wait too long to say I'm sorry, I was wrong. Now that Randy is gone, we realize what a treasure and friend he was to us all.
We still have much to learn from Randy's life. Strive to be a blessing, be a friend, encourage someone. Take time to honestly care for those around you. Be kindhearted, let your words heal and not wound. It doesn't matter if you laugh loudly at me, or with me, but only that we can laugh till our faces are wet with happy tears.
Randy was especially unique and valuable every day at his job. Every mechanic knows the worst feeling in the world is losing the tool you need right now to fix something. The most frustrating feeling is the time spent fruitlessly searching for it. The feelings of happiness, joy and satisfaction, once we find what we lost, can't be described with words. We've lost Randy, we can't fix that, but we can find comfort if we search our hearts and memories for him. I didn't get the chance to thank you for everything, but I will never forget you.
