Alfred Emanuel Buckler Alfred Emanuel Buckler, 82, of Louisa, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010.

He was born May 1, 1928 in Washington, D.C., to William Joseph Buckler and Sarah Seltzer Buckler.

Alfred served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Mineral.

He is survived by his two daughters, Carol I. Kent (Alan) of Annapolis, Maryland, and Alice J. Morales (Guillermo) of Sterling; six grandchildren, Janet Teske, Joan Erwin, Rachael Roman, Alfred Roman, Victoria Morales, and Christopher Morales; seven great-grandchildren, Juliet Kent, Luke Teske, Madeline Teske, Sarah Teske, Joy Erwin, Jenia Erwin, and Alexandria Erwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Marion N. Buckler; a sister, Millicent Catherine Buckler Edelen; and a brother, Joseph Eugene Buckler, along with numerous other siblings that did not survive childhood.

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010, with a Rosary service beginning at 8 p.m. at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Father Michael Duffy will be officiating.
