Abraham Delman Obituary
Abraham Harry Delman, 79, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at his home.
He was born June 6, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Nathan and Helen Noodleman. He was also predeceased by his wife, Lilyan E. Delman.
Mr. Delman graduated from City University of New York with an accounting degree. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Fluvanna SPCA. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Beth Israel Congregation.
Survivors include his children, Michael Delman, Larry Delman and Rachel Delman Turniansky; a sister, Mildred Blank; and seven grandchildren, Baruch, Rashi, Yitzi, Yehuda, Shaindel, Jessica, and Stephanie.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home chapel with Rabbi Daniel Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at the Hebrew Cemetery.
