Audrey Rosetta Skeen Knight

Audrey Rosetta Skeen Knight of Palmyra, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, November 27, 2009. Her family rejoices in her relationship with Christ and the faith that she passed on to them.

Audrey was born September 13, 1931, to the late Oakey and Martha Skeen.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Alexander Knight; a son, Roger Knight; three daughters, Susan Ringwood, Ellen Johnson and Rosetta Snead; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her family will miss her very much but look forward to the day when they can walk the streets of heaven with her again.

Funeral sevices will be held at Open Door Church in Troy, Virginia, 1 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009, with Pastor Charles Undercoffer officiating.

A graveside service will be held at Monticello Memory Gardens immediately following the funeral.

Mr. Knight, Roger, Ellen, Susan, Rose and families, I know you will miss Ms. Audrey fiercely, as will many others, but that great and godly love she demonstrated will carry on in your hearts and through you as you live on. You are greatly blessed! Praying for your comfort and peace through this time. Love to you all from SC.
