B. Batchelor Obituary
B. J. Batchelor of Charlottesville, Virginia, died on Friday, December 4, 2009.
Her loving husband of 54 years, Tom; sons, Bob, Jimi, and Tim Batchelor and their wives; seven grandchildren; and her sister's daughter, Donna Sanders, invite B.J.'s friends to see each other this Thursday, December 10, 2009.
She was born in Salem, Virginia, and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Lawson of Miami, Florida; and her sister, Virginia Ferris of Roanoke, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church, 500 Park Street, Charlottesville, Virginia. 434-296-7131.

Tom, Bobby, Jimmy and Timmy,
We just learned of B.J.'s passing. We are so sorry for your loss. We saw her this summer at dinner at Farmington...it had been years since we had been in contact. It brought back many wonderful memories of Carrsbrook and Westmoreland. B.J. was always a lady....gracious to all. We know that she will be missed by all of you and by many others. May God grant you peace during this time of grieving.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of BJ. I am BJ's cousin and along with my two sisters - Frances Arlene Topping and Mary Joan Saunders, we have many fond memories of the good times we had at Catawba. BJ will be missed.
