Barbara Jackson Obituary
Barbara L. Jackson, 66, of Palmyra, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was born on March 18, 1944, a daughter of the late Cleveland Anderson. She was the widow of Will Perkins Jackson Sr. and was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by six sons, William, Collis, Nywd, Jamar, Jermaine and Alonza; three daughters, Abigail, Tonya and Fiona; three sisters, Elizabeth, Annie Mae and Geneva; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Sheridan Funeral Home Chapel in Kents Store, conducted by the Reverend June Carter. Interment will follow at the Jackson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Sheridan Funeral Home.

My heart is broken as I write this. Barbara was like a mother to me. I will always love her. She taught me a lot about life. All I have left of her is her voice on my answering machine. I love you momma and Ill never forget you!
