Bessie Robinson Johnson
Bessie Robinson Johnson, 84, of Louisa, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2009, at Louisa Health Center.
She was born May 5, 1925, in Louisa County, to the late Joseph Robinson and Flora Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lloyd Johnson; her daughter, Barbara Ann Johnson; her son, John E. Johnson; and her brother, Milton Robinson.
Bessie was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, where she was a missionary and a nurse. She was employed by Comdial for over 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving sister, Martha Brice; a devoted daughter-in-law of 44 years, Leona Scott Johnson; a grandson, Timothy A. Johnson; two great- grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Johnson, all of Louisa, Virginia; a devoted nephew, Richard Brice; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Galilee Baptist Church, 3598 Three Notch Road, Ferncliff, VA 23053 with the Reverend Otis R. Spellman officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Thomasson Watson Funeral Service Inc., of Louisa, is handling the arrangements.

To My Family,
I was sorry to hear of Cousin Bessie's passing. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by family and friends. I'm not able to be home for the services, but my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
