Tracy,Todd and family
I was praying for the family of this young boy....I was praying that God would give the family peace and comfort to get through this difficult time. As I was driving to work and saying my prayers, it came to me. I thought I had been praying for a family I didn't know and all it suddenly came to me who Colby was. Tracy, I am so sorry. I continue to pray that God will give you strength and peace as you wake up in the mornings, go through the day and when you go to sleep at night. I have wanted to call you guys and let you know that all of us have been thinking of you guys.
Our prayers are with you and your family,
Sandra(Harry and Josh) Shepherd

Tracy,
Words cannot even express how sadly I feel for you. We have known each other a long time and I had the pleasure of photographing Colby and Courtney in their younger days on the farm. That will always be a fond memory I keep in my heart. There are no words to comfort you, just know that you are in my thoughts and may Colby rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers go to family and friends. I grew up with Colby, he was like a little brother to me. Colby we have a lot of memories together and to look back on. They will never be forgotten neither will you. We dont know why God called you home so early in life but he had a reason for doing it. They say the good die young and you are proof. This is a really sad time but i know you are up above watching over us. So many questions with no answers. The last memory i have with Colby was talking to him on myspace while watching the Dallas Cowboys play the Redskins. We was joking and laughing having a good time. I still cant believe you gone. You will never be forgotten. You will always be loved and missed dearly. This is GOODBYE until we meet again when the good lord calls me home and you can tell me all about what you have done in heaven. I love you and miss you Colby Wade Eppard. Now its time for you to rest in peace.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

May you find peace and comfort in the arms of our SAVIOR. I can't seem to be able to express the sorrow my heart feels for the parents and family of this young man.
I pray you'll put your trust and faith in the one above... for you'll never know of such a love. He's more than able to bring you through. I promise HE will... for HE's done it for me too! Give HIM the pain, the sorrow the grief...all it takes is just the belief. HE's able to heal... it will take some time... but put your faith in the ONE who's divine! It may seem to be unbearable at times... like your heart again, you'll never find. But get on your knees, give it to HIM...let it go; even let the tears flow... You'll need the release; HE'S the only one able to give you peace! He knows your pain... HE'LL carry you through, there's nothing more important than this you can do. The LORD will never turn HIS back... nor never walk away, there is nothing more I can say... except to be sure of your salvation today!

Life will go on, but will never be the same. your beautiful smile is gone, but will always remain. Your our angel from up above. You'll always be missed, but most importantly LOVED. Just one more minute, God is all we ask, why can't you give him back, it seems like such a simple task. I guess people are right when they say God only takes the best I know enough now that your peacefully at rest. It's hard for me to understand why he chose you to take away. And if i ever faced him this is what I would say, "It's so unfair there were so many words left unspoken and debts left undone". Your life in Heaven has only just begun. I know your gone but will never be left out. We will never forget you that there is no boubt. Although your in a new place I'll always remember you and your smiling Grace. You've brighten my day with a little wave and smile. There is so much i can say but right now...I will say see you in the afterlife because Goodbyes are forever in hopes to see you again. I know right now your looking down on us with a tear in your eye, thinking about that horrible day when you were forced to say goodbye! RIP COLBY I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!

"In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole. They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious."
Tracy, you and your family are in my prayers. May GOD'S peace and strength be with you always.
