Darrell Frayne Kirby

Darrell Frayne Kirby, 52, died at his home on Thursday, November 5, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora Kirby-Herring and Zane Kirby and his grandddaughter, Kaylee Kirby.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Kirby; four children, Darrell Kirby II and his wife, Lynn, of Buffalo, New York, Devon, Douglas and Tamara Kirby, all of Charlottesville; two brothers, Jonathan Kirby and Phillip Kirby; and a stepsister, Brenda Herring. Extended family members include Frank and Jess Martin, G.W. Carlson and family, Janet, Charlie and Jennifer of Long Island, New York, and Amy Taylor and Amanda Fisher. Also survived by grandchildren, Evan Kirby and Dakota Martin, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews,.

He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and love for his family.

A memorial service will be held at South Side Church of God on Avon Street, Extended from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009. Flowers will be accepted at the church.
