Deanna Kenney Obituary
Deanna Marie Kenney, 20, a wonderful and beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, departed this life on Saturday, August 28, 2010.
She was born on September 15, 1989, to Jo Anna Jones Forrest and George D. Morris III in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, George D. Morris Jr. and her paternal great-grandparents, Andrew and Mary Morris.
She is survived by her mother, Jo Anna Jones Forrest, her husband, Charlie, and brother, Eric Kenney, all of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her father, George D. Morris III, his wife, Amanda, and sister, Mariah, all of Waynesboro, Virginia; her maternal grandmother, Sylvia Marcum of Hayes, Virginia; her maternal grandfather, Donald W. Jones Sr. and his wife, Robin, her maternal great- grandparents, Mason and Margaret Jones, all of Louisa, Virginia; her maternal great- grandmother, Edith Hogge of Gloucester, Virginia; her paternal grandparents, Carrie and James Carter, and brother, James Morris, all of Louisa, Virginia; her aunts, Kristin Jones of Ruckersville, Virginia, Felicia Morris of Louisa, Virginia, Anna Payne and George of Charlottesville, Virginia; her uncle, Donald W. Jones Jr. and Rachel of Louisa, Virginia; one stepsister, Emily Agnolucci and Chad of Midlothian, Virginia; one stepbrother, Michael Forrest of St. Louis, Missouri; one uncle she adopted, John Vest of Charlottesville, Virginia; and a host of brothers, great-aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 until 12 p.m. Thursday, September 2, at Preddy's Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Gordonsville, VA 22942.
A memorial service will immediately follow visitation.

One of the things that I always remember about Deanna was her sense of humor and just the joy she always lived in. No matter what she was going through she always did her best to be there for others.

Deanna,
You were awesome. Every day it was something new with you, your spontaneity was one of your best traits. You always had a smile on your face and skip in your step. We never had a dull moment and we were always having fun being roommates and friends. You were easily inspired and just as inspiring. You gave me a chance to make my life better and in many ways you helped me succeed in that endeavor. Like a true friend you appreciated me for who I am. Even though I only knew you for a few short months you became a very important person in my life and I hate to see you go. Look after us in the house of the lord friend.
