Ernest Buttner Obituary
Ernest Eugene Buttner, 82, of Charlottesville, died on Friday, October 8, 2010, at his home.
He was born on June 10, 1928 to the late Ernest Frederick and Lucy Dudley Buttner. Also preceding him in death is his son, Frederick; and two sisters, Eva, and Mary.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline; two daughters, Gloria Weeks and her husband, Leonard, Nina Blackwell and her, husband, Gary; a son, Clifton Buttner and his wife, Brenda; three brothers, Terry, Frank, and Billy; two sisters, Dolly and Rosalie; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Holly Memorial Gardens.
