Frederick J. Alter
Fred Alter died on Sunday, September 5, 2010, in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was the husband of Rose Marie, father of Cheryl Pietrzyk and her husband, David; grandfather of John Pietrzyk and his wife, Agnes, and Eric Pietrzyk; and great-grandfather of Asher Pietrzyk.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010, with Rosary at 7 p.m., at A.J. Desmond and Sons in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911.
