Pearl Feigert
Goldie Belle Pearl Feigert, 80, of Charlottesville, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at home, following a long battle with emphysema.
She was born on July 23, 1930, in Alburg, Vermont, the daughter of the late Paul Ira and Bertha Liebesman Pearl.
Educated in public schools in Vermont and Mount Vernon, New York, she received her BFA from Cornell University in 1952.
Married in 1954 to David John Feigert, an attorney, she leaves her husband; her son, John M. Feigert M.D. of McLean; her daughter, Olga Kochar of Charlottesville; two nieces, Andi Schwartz of Bethesda, Maryland and Tracy Finn of Warwick, New York; two nephews, Douglas Pearl of Boston, Massachusetts and Jeff Pearl of Glens Falls, New York; as well as her brother, Norman, of Mamaroneck, New York. She was predeceased by her beloved "daughter," Cinnamon, a golden retriever.
An award winning artist and printmaker, she was a widely-respected art restorer.
