I'm his grandson, firstborn of James Robert and my mother Pamela. I never got to know my grandpa, and that makes me sad.

it is hard to believe that a year has passed, I still miss getting his weekly phone call to check in. He was truly an amazing person and very dear friend.

In life, there are people who make a huge impression, impact and form your life; Bob is one of those people. He is of the people you never forget; Larger than life. I was one of the very fortunate ones who got to know and spend a lot of time with Chief Bob while growing up with his son, my best friend. Joining the Fire Department and having him as my Chief, Bob became my friend as I grew into adulthood. Knowing and learning from him was a joy; Not to mention the countless stories from and about him that I could share for hours. To his family and all that knew him, my deepest condolences for the loss of this wonderful man. God's speed to a life well lived, you'll be greatly missed.

Bob was not only a great chief but also the greatest friend anyone could ever ask for. He will be sorely missed.

Chief Feigert one of a kind. The first time I met Bob we were both at the entrance of the ER at Aultman, we both were there with our decked out Chief cars. I guess you could say, "who outdid who"? I heard about him and he heard about me. We looked at each other, as he walked over with his hand out and said, Feigert is the name and fire is my game, I have heard about you. I return with Kerstetter is the name and my game is the same. That became a lifelong very close friendship last over 40 years. He was a man of high integrity and well respected wherever he went . There was no other like him and I will miss him dearly. Godspeed my good friend.

Bob was one of a kind! Smart, a laugh a minute ! He just lit up a room when he walked in! Did it all ! Was a Fire Chief ,drove trains and a Sheriff Deputy! He will never be forgotten!
God rest his soul!

Chief Bob welcomed me as a volunteer firefighter over 35 years ago, sent me to paramedic school and ultimately talked me into a career in law enforcement. He must have known something I didn’t, for I did 33 years in that line of work...and enjoyed every minute of it. But this would pale in comparison to the wisdom and guidance he would pass along, not to mention the hundreds of stories he would tell, telling them as if they happened yesterday. One of this biggest strengths was he knew how to talk to anyone, and I realized how important that trait was in police work. He knew a LOT of folks...but it was unbelievable in the number of people that knew him. And indeed, one of my greatest joys was knowing him, and I hope I made him proud. God, take him into your house and prepare him a place to Rest In Peace...the man certainly deserves it.
