I'm his grandson, firstborn of James Robert and my mother Pamela. I never got to know my grandpa, and that makes me sad.

it is hard to believe that a year has passed, I still miss getting his weekly phone call to check in. He was truly an amazing person and very dear friend.

In life, there are people who make a huge impression, impact and form your life; Bob is one of those people. He is of the people you never forget; Larger than life. I was one of the very fortunate ones who got to know and spend a lot of time with Chief Bob while growing up with his son, my best friend. Joining the Fire Department and having him as my Chief, Bob became my friend as I grew into adulthood. Knowing and learning from him was a joy; Not to mention the countless stories from and...

Bob was not only a great chief but also the greatest friend anyone could ever ask for. He will be sorely missed.
