James Craig Obituary
James Edward Craig, 60, of Arrington died on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at home.
He was born on May 22, 1950, in Nelson County, Virginia, the son of the late Clarence Craig and Mary Caul Craig. He was also preceded in death by six sisters, Margaret Craig, Estelle Stokes, Doris Marone Craig, Ruby Bryant, Ann Craig and Carole Sites; and two brothers, Junior Craig and Hunter Craig.
James was a painter by trade.
Surviving him are three daughters, Mary Jean Craig of North Carolina, Julie Craig of Crozet and Dion Thompson of Nelson County; two sons, Brandon Edward Craig of North Carolina and Shannon Craig of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Jordon Cornell, Brianna Cornell, Leah Craig, Ansley Craig, Natalie Craig and Vanessa Thompson; and a favorite nephew, Early Bryant.
The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Schectman and the staff of the University of Virginia Medical Center for their care.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, at the Rock Gate Cemetery in Crozet with the Reverend Sidney Craig officiating.
