Jennifer Cordelia Washington

Jennifer Cordelia Washington, 47, of Charlottesville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at a local health care center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Washington; a sister, Valerie Washington; and one brother, Malcolm Washington.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted family; her mother, Mildred White Washington of Charlottesville; two brothers, Leroy Washington Jr. and Gregory Washington and one sister, Tiffinnie Washington, all of Charlottesville; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at New Covenant Pentecostal Church with Bishop William Nowell officiating. Interment will follow at Springfield Baptist Church cemetery in Troy.

Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service Inc. Doris A. McClenny, Mortician.

Mildred, We are sadden at Jennifer's passing. Just know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. To be absent from this earthly body is to be present with our Lord. We pray you and the family strength in the days ahead.
