John Jones Obituary
John Deleware "Dele" Jones, 85, departed this life for his journey to heaven on Monday, April 26, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; and sons, Freddie, Welford and Ronnie; and daughters, Florence and Sharon; grandchildren, George, Robert, Jarvis, Jennifer, Cheri, Jasmine, Kenya, Nicole, Angie, Lavonia Ann, Kimberly and Terri; brothers, Arthur and Frank; sister, Elizabeth; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
From 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010, a viewing will be held at Thomasson Fork Union Chapel, 4002 James Madison Highway, Route 15, Fork Union, Virginia.
A celebration of life service will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Route 15, Arvonia, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Arvonia, Virginia, with the Reverend Benjamin Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
