My sister Cathy & I were invited by my brother Julian & wife (Othelia), to her parents home in Charlottesville during a holiday in 1975. We were in college at the time in No. Carolina. Every dish on the table was superb, especially the rice pudding! Mrs. Walker gave me the recipe, but mine somehow never tasted like hers. She was a fantastic ccok, and a soft gentle soul with a Mona Lisa smile.
My most memorable moment was how beautiful she looked during our Xmas dinner last year in Virginia. In spite of her illness, she looked like a Nubian Queen with that same sweet smile.
To the entire Walker family, she will be dearly missed. I'd like to give a very special praise to Othlia for being such a remarkable, caring & dutiful daughter.
I'm sorry I'm not able to personally attend her "Home Going" celebration today, but please rest assured that she's in God's hands & we'll see her again. May God bless each & every one of you.

Hello everyone,
I was so sorry to hear of Mama illnes and death. I will miss her. She never did teach me how to grow plant and keep them alive. I continue to have the quilted pillow she made for me one Christmas. She made them right in front of our faces. I recalled saying how pretty it was.
I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service. Please know that all of you are in my prayers.
Love to all
