When I joined McLean QU about 15 years ago, Marie was then a member. She astounded us at each and every meeting with numerous new quilts/wall hangings that she had made during the intervening month. Also, I recall that the Centerville G Street hung a collection of her quilts in their store during that time. She also attended the Williamsburg Quilt Shows in wintertime where she would greet her chapter friends at her daughter's vendor display. She is remembered for her incredible output and love of quilting. Having read her obituary, she accomplished so much throughout her 92 years--clearly an example of a life well-lived.

Marie was a member of the McLean, VA, Quilter's Unlimited for many years. She was a good friend to many of us and a prolific quilter. She was always generous with her fabrics and talent. We all admired her a great deal. She will be missed.

Hello, Cousins. I am sorry to hear about Aunt Marie but know that she is at rest now and no longer in pain. I remember the times all of you coming to Texas when we were smaller. We had fun playing with each other. Now all of us live in different states with fuller lives. Take care of yourselves. Have thought of you each many times.
Lovingly, Your Cousin, Julie Cron Edwards.
