Despite Marie's many talents she was always an unpretentious gal. I don't think she ever fully realized how much people enjoyed being with her.
I was one of the lucky ones. The laughs and fun we shared as we played many rounds of golf together at Birdwood over the past 10 years will always remain with me. She was a great lady. A very bright light is gone, but fond memories of Marie will stay with me forever.

The news of Marie (my golfing buddy & dear friend) passing away saddened me beyond explaination. She will be missed more than one can imagine as she was a person that was kind, sensitive to your feelings and fun to be around. I send my sympathy and prayers to Jimmy, Sr., Jimmy, Jr., Donna, Gina and Gloria. May God Bless each of you. With Love and Respect, Brenda

Marie was like a member of our family. Many evenings when we were returning late from a sports practice/game and were overly hungry, we'd call Marie at Casella's and ask her if she could prepare us some of our favorite dishes. She always kindly obliged, greeting us warmly into the restaurant with a smile and a kind word, always inquiring about all of us, and then serving us a delicious Italian meal. It was never the same after the Casella family left the restaurant. Marie was a kind, giving woman, and she'll be missed by all of us.
