Markwood Dollens Obituary
Markwood David Dollens, 46, of Crozet, died at his residence on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
He was born on January 27, 1964, in Waynesboro, Virginia, the son of Richard and Barbara Dollens. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tyree Andrew Dollens.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Collier Dollens of Crozet; one daughter, Rebekah Dawn Dollens and her fiance, Jamie L. Hunt of Crozet; two sons, Richard David Dollens and his fiancee, Crystal Liveley, of Charlottesville, and Markwood Andrew Dollens and his fiancee, Cearuh Ruff, of Crozet; three Godchildren, Jason, Casey and Randy Walton; one grandchild, Thomas Lee Hunt; nieces and nephews, Chucky, Dustin, Reba Dollins, Roland Keith Shifflett II, Brandi Thomas; and one brother, Charles Franklin Dollens.
He was employed by Barnes Lumber Company as a truck driver and a graduate of Western Albemarle High School. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1309.
" Our skies have turned grey the moment you went away, we all know we will meet you again someday in that mansion in the sky when its our turn to die we will have an eternal life forever there. Please don't forget we all really care. We love you Markwood, your wife and children."
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Anderson Funeral Home in Crozet.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2010, at the Church of the Blue Ridge in Afton, Virginia, with Pastor Whitney Critzer and Dr. Alan Thompson officiating.
Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Although I did not know Markwood personally, my daughters are friends of Andrew and Richard. My deepest sympathies go out to the family. I know that times like this are difficult to bear and I pray that God, your memories, family and friends will help you through the days to come.
