Martha Anne Davis Martha Anne Davis, 70, of North Garden, died on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at home. She was born August 2, 1939, in Charlottesville, the daughter of the late Clarence Roosevelt Lilly and Martha Jane Sprouse Lilly. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis P. Davis; and a brother, Lewis Lilly. Surviving her is her daughter, Mary Lynn Orange and her husband, Bryan, of Big Stone Gap; three sons, James Lee Moore and his wife, Marcy, of Millersville, Maryland, Clarence Edward Moore and his wife, Delores, of North Garden, and Ernest Lynwood Moore Jr. and his wife, Julia, of North Garden; 10 grandchildren, which includes a special granddaughter, Julie Anne Orange; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Gibson and her husband, Elwood, of North Garden; and two brothers, Percy Lilly of Charlottesville and James Lilly and his wife, Myrtle, of North Garden. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Holly Memorial Gardens with Chaplain David Cole of Legacy Hospice officiating.
