Muriel Dehart Marshall

Muriel Dehart Marshall, 74, of Scottsville, died Friday, December 31, 2010, at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

She was born February 4, 1936, in Henry, Virginia, a daughter of the late Oscar Millard and Ruby (Prillman) Dehart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil M. Dehart.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She worked as a clerk with the Central Intelligence Agency and was an avid gardener.

Survivors include her husband, Jaquelin A. Marshall; two sons, Charles Spencer Marshall and his wife, Kelley, of Buckingham, and Jack A. Marshall Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Wilmington, Deleware; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060

Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville is handling the arrangements.
