Pat L. Marshall went from His Words to His Arms on November 24, 2025, in Huntsville, TX. She was born on September 14, 1939, in Mexico, Missouri, to parents Claude and Lorene Coonce.

Pat was a longtime, devoted member of Westland Baptist Church in Katy, TX, for over 25 years, where she was actively involved, particularly enjoying her time working with the children in Awana's. She gave her heart to the Lord at a young age, maintaining a strong faith and reading her Bible daily. After moving to Huntsville, TX she remained active in her church at Carriage Inn.

After retiring from Crowley Maritime, Pat served as a Republican election judge. She enjoyed a variety of interests, including attending classic car shows with her husband, Tom. She loved to travel, with some of her most cherished destinations being Israel, Hawaii, and Cancun.

Pat was a selfless person who loved people well. She was devoted to her family, often bringing them together, and was a great inspiration in how to show love for others. She will be dearly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Richard Coonce and Lorene Avery Coonce; her husband, Tom Marshall; her granddaughter, Jennifer Sabados; and her grandson, Jacob Taylor.

She is remembered by her children Cindy Clarke (Craig), Elvin Taylor (Belinda), and Jimmy Taylor (Donna); her grandchildren Kim Taylor, Jamie Gorkiewicz (Mark), Christi Richards (TJ), Jim Taylor (Gracie), and Kevin Clarke (Marquis). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild on the way, her brother Clayton Coonce (Connie), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Westland Baptist Church, 1407 W Grand Pkwy S, Katy, TX 77494. She will be laid to rest following services at Magnolia Cemetery 6801 Franz Rd, Katy, TX 77493. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Center in Huntsville, TX or Westland Baptist Church youth ministry in Katy, TX
