Paul loved this sofa. It was long enough so he could stetch out when he came to stay with us.

I'm so sorry...I can't believe it will be a long time before I see "Pop" again. All I can think of is the night we kept lifting people with just 2 fingers and how we laughed and laughed and laughed... I'll always remember, with love.

Our lives were touched and turned around by Uncle Paul. To have known and loved someone so unique only happens occasionally to each of us. May his thoughtful, intelligent approach to life set an example for us to continue through out our own lives.

October 31, 2010

Paul was a great, quiet hero for conservation and small farm efforts in the communities where he lived. I feel honored to have had the privilege of working alongside him for awhile here in Charlottesville -- we'll do our best to continue the work he helped us initiate. My prayers to Amy and Geoff.
