Paul Dennis Obituary
Paul Warren "Slick" Dennis Jr., 70, of Fork Union, formerly of Madison Run, Virginia, died on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Envoy of the Village in Fork Union.
He was born on May 14, 1940, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Nellie Gray Gipson Dennis Hall and the late Paul Warren Dennis Sr.
Mr. Dennis is survived by a daughter, Debra Jo Dennis of San Diego, California; two sons, Michael Shawn Dennis of Woodbridge and David Wayne Dennis of Frederick, Maryland; two sisters, Carolyn Dennis Bess of Palmyra and Ann Hall Powell of Gordonsville; two brothers, T. C. Hall and A.M. Hall Jr., both of Gordonsville; five grandchildren, Samantha Ray Dennis, Jason Matthew Dennis, April Nicole Golden, Brittney Byron and Tyler Byron.
A memorial service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, in Orange. The Reverend William Bess conducted the service.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
