Sam Agee Obituary
Sam Henry Agee Jr., 52, of Palmyra, died Monday, January 4, 2010, at his home.
He was born on March 9, 1957, the son of the late Sam H. Agee Sr. and Eliza W. Agee.
He is survived by his wife, Varnessa; two sons, Sam H. Agee III and Eric L. Agee; a granddaughter, Kelaja Agee; and a sister, Eleanor.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2010, at the New Fork Baptist Church in Palmyra. Interment will be at the Agee family cemetery.
Friends may call at the Colbert Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010.
Arrangements by Colbert Funeral Home, Bremo Bluff.

To our friends Mrs. Varnessa, Sam, and Eric, we were saddened to hear the loss of Mr. Sam. We left Fluvanna over a year ago but the memories we shared over the years will never leave us. May God Bless all of you. You are in our prayers and we love all of you dearly. Varnessa, this is Glennes, AJ's mom. We used to have lots of fun during the football season when Sam and Aj were on the team together. We love yall.

To Sam's Family,
We were saddened to hear of Sam's passing this weekend. My two young boys, Adam and Kacey, had met him at his garage and shared his love for old muscle cars. They had constantly told me stories about teasing Sam to sell them his Camaro. My husband, Carl, had brought them there looking for parts and anytime they needed something, it was "let's go see Sam."
God Bless you and thanks Sam for sharing yourself and your car knowledge with my boys.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We have alot of good memories that we took with us when we moved from Shores like our good friends and neighbors. Many of those memories were rekindled just the other day with all of the snow when we remembered what real neighbors do for eachother in times of need; with no water electricity, roads lttered with trees and tractors were the only transportation. We were all ok because of eachother. Sam was a front runner for the neighborhood in those times of need.. We also share another special date with you Tina and Sam: June 17th. and we will remember our neighbor fondlly .
