While I knew and loved Sylvia for her kindness and contributions to Unity Church of Charlottesville, I never knew she was born in Allentown and graduated from Bucknell University. I personally was born and raised in Bethlehem Pa (Allentown's neighboring city) and I also attended and graduated from Bucknell University. Rest in peace Sylvia and know that you are remembered. I will make this year's contribution to Hospice in honor of you and another long term friend of mine that just made her transition.

Sylvia and our beloved Aunt B (Harriet Handsfield) were best friends and so much fun together. We will miss Sylvia but are comforted by the thought that she and Aunt B are now together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. The Robertson Family.

Dear family of Sylvia,
Sylvia was a wonderful friend and a beautiful soul. I always enjoyed seeing her at Unity Church. She will be missed by Unity and all her friends there.

Sylvia was true gentle woman I had many conversations with her regarding her health challenges.I was glad that could help her through the health care maize.

Sylvia was a good friend to many Lake Monticello Ladies. She played bridge with so many of us over the years and even when she moved she would come out and play. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. Lorna Jervis

Dear Family, Sylvia will be missed deeply. She was the kindest person I knew. I am honored to have had her as a friend. If there is anything I can do just call me. Sherry Turtle Creek
