Timothy Boyd "Timmy" Banton

Timothy Boyd "Timmy" Banton, 50, of Amissville, Virginia, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.

Timmy loved painting, drawing, fishing, and riding horses, but most especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his special friend, Donna Mayo; three daughters, Emma Lou Banton and Crystal and Christina Sclafani; three brothers, John, Anthony, and Robert Banton; three sisters, Deborah Gentry and her husband, John, Darlene Jackson and her husband, David, and Joanne Walters and her husband, Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie Banton; and brothers, William, James, Donald, and Larry Banton.

A visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, Virginia, from 9:30 from 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, with a memorial service to begin at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Shaw Henson. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715 Culpeper, Virginia, 22701.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I am sorry to hear of Timmy's passing. May you all find peace in knowing that others care. Timmy will not be forgotten. So sorry Dean and I could not be there to pay our respects. Our thoughts were with you. Love, Dean and Claudia

I am so sorry to know of Timmy passing. He was a brother of dear friends and this is a tremindes loos. May he sleep with the angles....CECIL :) LOVE to him,,,,,,,,,
