Recently, my Christmas card was returned from Shell Point and I learned of Bill's death. He was a wonderful gentleman and he shall always be missed. I was fortunate to have been in his first Marketing class at UVa in Spring of 1965 and we have been friends ever since. We have exchanged Christmas cards since 1966 and we have visited Bill at Shell Point.
I send my condolences to his family members and my appreciation for having known such an outstanding gentleman.

I am an SVP at Synvoate and run the public sector group. i came to MFI in 1976 and was fortunate to have worked with people who were trained by Bill.Your father had a great influence on the company for years after he left through the people that he mentored. I meet him a few times when he came back to visit and actually did some pro bono work for him when he undertook to assess the satisfaction of the folks living in his housing complex. he was a great mand and i am fortunate to have benefitted indirectly from his direction.
