Bernard Gargiulo Obituary
AGE: 79 • Boca Raton, FL
Bernard William Gargiulo, age 79, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his home in Boca Raton, Florida. Born and raised in Summit, NJ, he moved to Madison in 1973 with his former wife Eugenia and family. Bill owned and operated Bill's Getty in Green Village, NJ from 1955 until his retirement in 1989. Bill was an avid golfer and fisherman.
The son of the late Bernard & Grace Gargiulo of Summit. He was also predeased by his brother, Robert; sister, Elizabeth Adriance and his son, Bernard "Bernie" Gargiulo Jr. Bill was survived by his partner, Joyce Gordon; his sister, Lynn Studnick of Coconut Creek, Florida, and his four sons and their wives, Frank (Kathy), Arnold, Wayne (Suzanne), Stanley (Michelle) and twelve grandchildren.
A private service will be held in Florida.

I worked for Bill back around 1973/ 1974. My high school years. I thank Bill for his patience while I worked from a pump attendant to a mechanic in his gargage working under the guidance of Don, his lead mechanic. I went on to have a succcessful career in the Automotive industry for 45 years. I got a BS degree in Automotive Parts and Service Management. Without working for Bill I doubt that would have happened. Thanks Bill! I am sorry I missed seeing you as our lives moved on. I always wanted to stop by the Getty Station to say Hi, but those days passed, but not the memories. Thanks! Dear Frank,and the entire Gargiulo family , we are truly sorry for the lost of your father,and grandfather. we know losing someone hurts and we know time will also heal , remember the happy times the fun times , He is not hurting any more. He is in Gods arms now. God Bless you all.
