Larry M. Cloudy

Funeral service for Mr. Larry M. Cloudy, 62, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Brewer and Bro. LeyMoin Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery. Mr. Cloudy was born February 15, 1950, in Orange, Texas, to Wesley and Maxine Drook Cloudy. He passed away March 18, 2012, in Lufkin, Texas. Larry grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1968. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a mechanic. He married Marsha Ann Ritter November 21, 1980, in Nacogdoches. Larry liked to coon hunt and was a member of the Texas State Coon Hunters Association. He was an avid trotline fisherman, as well. He loved working on his poultry farm. He had a wonderful personality, was very witty and made friends easily. He enjoyed his daily trips to the post office and visiting with the friends he ran into. Larry was a great man with a lot of integrity, and if he couldn't give you good advice he wouldn't give you any advice at all. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Marsha Cloudy, of Nacogdoches; his mother, Maxine Cloudy of Nacogdoches; one son, Travis Cloudy of Beaumont; stepson, Jason Tucker and wife, Eileen, of Olathe, Kansas; two daughters, Angela Unsell and husband, Jason, of Lufkin and Susan Wilson and husband, Kenneth, of Cushing; stepdaughter, Rebecca Boles and husband, Tony, of Pollok; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his father, Wesley Cloudy, he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Bridwell. Pallbearers will be Mike Lee, Kenneth Wilson, Jeff Bridwell, Marc Bridwell, Wes Bridwell, Donald Renfro and Carroll Bridwell.
