Dorothy,Carol, Doug and family,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss but I know that he surely lived a full life. I think how lucky my parents, Cindy and I were to have him and your family such an important part of our life from basically the time I was 1 week old (from what I am told). George and Dorthy (aka Doll) were like a 3rd set of grandparents to Cindy and I. I will always remember going over to the house on Xmas morning after we had opened presents at home to open presents at George and Dorothy's! He was truly a special man and will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to your family at this difficult time. May God provide strength and comfort as you endure the days ahead. (2 Corthinians 1:3,4).

I was lucky to have known Captain Altman for over 50 years. He was a hero in WWII and an outstanding fire fighter and officer on the Hamilton Fire Department. He was a leader and friend. I enjoyed many years of conversations with George. I will miss not seeing him again. He will be missed by many. My sincere sympathy to his wife and family.
