News Death Notice

WELLS, Jr., James "Jim" Earl Age 64 of New Lebanon, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. He was born Oct. 30, 1947. Jim was preceded in death by sister, Toni Raye; and his parents Wilmena (Ridings) and James Earl Wells Sr. He is survived by daughter, Billie Phillips, of Brookville; son, Scott Wells of Clayton; cherished grandchildren, Casey James and Rachael Marie; sister, Mary Price of Kodak, TN; brother, Rick (Mary) Wells of New Lebanon; ex-wife and friend, Patricia (Terry) Brombaugh of New Lebanon; many nieces, nephews, and , many friends. Jim was a 1966 graduate of Dixie High School. He served in the United States Army, worked for General Motors for 32 years, and was a member of American Legion Post 762. A memorial gathering will be held at the New Lebanon American Legion Post 762 on Friday Oct. 19, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AmericanLegion Post 762 or the Farmersville Fire Dept. Condolences may be expressed at: www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
