Family-Placed Obituary

SPENCE, Ruby H. age 82 of W. Carrollton passed away Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Sycamore Hospital. She was born January 30, 1924 in Savoy, KY the daughter of the late Walter Sr. & Cora (Thompson) Hammock. Ruby had been a resident of Sycamore Glen facilities for the past 14 months. Preceded in death by her husband Gerald Glenn Spence, and a brother Walter Hammock Jr. Survivors include 3 sisters Virginia Duffy of Indiana, Carrie Sue Hammock of Florida, Doris Abner and husband George of Tennessee, a brother Gorman Hammock and wife Bonnie of Florida, a cousin Una Lee Lanter of Ohio, and several nieces, nephews and many friends. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the David's Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Arrangements in care of SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton.

I am going to miss Ruby. She was a very sweet person and I loved her to death. She always had a smile on her face.I really enjoyed talking to her when I was her caregiver at SGHC. She will be missed by ALL!!!
