News Death Notice

MANIER, John "Jack" F. Age 91 of Englewood, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was a wonderful poet and had a regular entry or commentary in the Versailles Policy, his words always spoke of God and Country; two things he was very fond of and spoke of often. Jack worked as an assembler at NCR for 38 years before retiring and was a member of their bible class for over 20 years. He loved to take walks in the Englewood Metropark and appreciate God's creation. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Keith (Linda) Manier of Greenville, Dr. Stephen (Donna) Manier of MI, John (Nancy) Manier of Miamisburg, nephew: Bradley (Karen) Manier of NY, great-nephew: Eli, grandchildren: Brooke, Chantelle, Emily, Joshua, Joseph, Hannah, Sarah, Christopher, Andrea, 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Evelyn (Sullivan) Manier, parents: Francis and Rhea (Begin) Manier, brother: Ted Manier. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with his son Keith Manier officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles.
