Josie SHEETS Obituary

SHEETS, (Gricus), "Josie" Age 96, of Dayton, passed away March 13, 2017 at The Carlyle House in Kettering. Josie was born March 17, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Alex and Margaret Gricus. She was a 1938 graduate of Kiser High School. Josie earned her Ohio cosmetology license in 1947 and styled the hair of hundreds of family and friends throughout her life. She also worked for 22 years in the Water Revenue Department of Dayton. Josie is survived by her son, William H. Sheets, Jr.; sisters, Maugie Stedron and Helen Probst; as well as other family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Kettering. A reception at Amber Rose restaurant will follow the Mass. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. To leave condolences for the family, please visit www.newcomerdayton.com
