Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

Scott, it was such an honor to get to sing duets with you. When I come across a song that sounds perfect for you and me, I will save it "for another time and another place." Mary Jett

Gail, truly words can't express how sorry we are to hear of Scott's passing. But we know heaven is rejoicing! I have fond memories of sitting with him at my house, laughing and sharing. He was admired, respected and loved by so many, including Bill, Bryna and I. Jan Landers

What a gentle, sweet , and multi-talented man who touched so many lives. Heaven will be a wonderful canvas for Scott's special touches, and his voice will be heard with the angels. May God be with family and friends as we all walk thru this long, lonesome valley.

Scott was a man of so many talents. I have enjoyed working with him over the years. He was always kind, good humored, fun, and most of all modest. The entire design community will miss him! Fondly, Salllye Powell Coggin

My heart is saddened by the loss of Scott. I will always remember his zest for life...as his former art teacher I knew the Lord had gifted him with creativity. He certainly lived that gift to the fullest during his life. It was wonderful to see his talent come so far and all the lives he made a difference in by his talent and love of the arts!! His compassion for all will be missed. My prayers for the family is to know that God will carry you with His grace during this most difficult journey of your life. Love to you all~~

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear about Scott's passing. He was such a joy to be around. His love and compassion was felt by so many friends and he always wore a smile when I saw him. I still have so many fond memories of Rob and can only imagine the reunion they are having with each other in Heaven. If either of you need anything please do not hesitate to contact me.
