Dear Melba,
Brenda and I were truly saddened to hear of the passing of Harry whom I considered to be a really good friend. I will never forget the good times we had fooling with all those T-Birds. I will never forget Harry even though I only knew the two of you for a short time. I know in my heart Harry is singing God's praises in heaven right now, and we look forward to joining him in the future. May God truly bless you and the rest of your family during this difficult time.

Dear Melba,
Sunny and I extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to you and your Family at the loss of your beloved, Harry. He has been such a source of encouragement to me over the past 26 years, often calling me to offer a listening ear, pastoral care, and his faithful prayerful support. The last time i talked with Harry was in Baghdad back in 2003. He had just hit the ground and was on his way to be with his Soldiers whom he loved so very much.
May the God of the Resurrection and Life comfort and keep you.
Sincerely in Christ,
Chaplain (MG) Doug Carver

Brother Harry will always have a special place in my heart. He showed me how to be saved and prayed with me 20 years ago. He performed my wedding ceremony 17 years ago. I learned so much about God and life from him at Forest Hill Baptist. He was truly a man of God and he will be missed. Melba, you're in our prayers. I am sorry that I couldn't make it to the funeral.

Mrs. Melba,
I am so sorry to hear about Bro. Harry. I loved him so much and was blessed to have him as my pastor while I was growing up. My whole family thinks the world of you both and will be keeping you in our prayers. Now and his Mrs. Eva can rejoice together in Heaven. God Bless you.

We are so sorry to hear about Harry. I have such special memories of the young man that graduated in the DHS Class of 1966. His legacy and testimony to a remarkable life is humbling to read. Blessings, peace and comfort to Harry's family and all those blessed grandchildren. Walt and Susan Gibson Twelkemeier
